Carnival is a season which we celebrate before Lent. It can be organized at home but also we can go to the theatre, cinema or disco. Poles like to have fun, like hanging out with friends or participating in public events.The Polish Carnival Season includes Fat Thursday when doughnuts are eaten. The Tuesday before the start of Lent is also often called Ostatki  meaning the last day to party before the Lenten season.
