Nowadays people use the abilities of Internet in every possible way. One of them is watching the movies. But even though there’s a danger that they’ll prefer to watch them in home, I think the power of cinemas will survive everything-it’s a magic impossible to forge.
First of all, people don’t like to resign from cinema’s magic. There’s a huge difference between watching their favorite actors on big screen and watching them in low quality, that Internet offers. Secondly, 3D technology is getting stronger, so even if tickets are expensive, it’s better to see something breathtaking with 3D glasses on their noses than without these emotions. What is more, it’s a fantastic way to spend time with friends-when people don’t want to have guests, they just go out. Do they want to clean the chairs because they’re full of popcorn? NO!
In the other hand, it’s all about money. People usually think it’s much cheaper to watch the movie in home than to spend money on watching it in cinema. In addiction, people like to feel freedom-they prefer to watch movies in home, with popcorn from microwave. They can also stop the movie, when they want to. Finally, now it’s easy to download the film even before a premiere, so differences between cinema and `home cinema` blur.
All in all, although there will always be people that are skeptical about cinemas, there’ll also be the ones that appreciate cinema’s magic and won’t let them die a natural death like mammoths!
Cinema will cease to exist soon. Do you agree?
