Palembang languages are similar to the Java languages. But, they are still different a little for one or two letters of alphabet each other. For example 'what' in Palembang languages is apo and  in Java languages is apa. The pronounce of the Palembang languages is typical with their tone. The tone of the palembang languages is tend to dent sound. But the pronounce of the Java languages is tend to smooth and polite.For example in Java languages, we use Krama Alus for older people and people who are we respect.
