It was a day like any other. John has come back home after long day at work. When he entered his apartment the clock on the wall showed 10 p.m. He felt exhausted and was ready to hit the bed. Still in bathroom, brushing his teeth, he heard a scream coming from the outside. He rushed to the bedroom window to see what was happening. When he looked out of the window he saw two men battering an older woman. She was screaming for help while the men were beating her senseless. John, who had a military background and martial arts training, didn't think much as to whether help this poor woman. He scurried downstars, kicked the door open and dashed towards to man. On seeing him one man pull out a knife and jumped towards him to stab him. John was quick to knock the knife out of the hood's hand and swiftly overpowered him with a punch to his face. The second hood instantly jumped him from behind and hit him with a crowbar. John fell to the ground. When the second hood was about finish him with the crowbar John pulled out a gun from the holster attached to his ankle and fired twice. The man dropped dead. When John got up he checked on the woman. She was dying. He hurried back home and called the ambulance. Luckily, the old woman survived and later visited John in his house to express a great gratitude for saving her life.
