Michel Teló (born on 21st of January 1981yr. in Medianeria) – Brazilian singer, dancer and also composer.
BIOGRAPHY
Michel Teló has born in Paraná state. Michel is The youngest of four childreen. His parents Aldoir and Leonilda Teló were owners of bakery. He has got two brothers: Teo Teló - music producer, Teofilo Teló - his 'impresario' and he has got one sister Eva Teló. His music career started when he, as a little boy, did his solo show in the school choir singing 'My dear, old man, my friend' by Robert Carlos and Erasmos Carlos. Teló started in two music groups, but once of them started his career - the group The Grupo Tradição. In 1997, Teló was just 16 when he was invited The Grupo Tradição, making part of the band for 11 years as lead vacals until 2008. His career as a singer took off as he sang the band's biggest hits, such as "Barquinho"(The boat), "O Caldeirão"(The Cauldron), "Pra Sempre Minha Vida" (Forever in my live), "A Brasileira" (The Brazilian) and "Eu Quero Você" (I wanna you).
During this time when he sang in The Grupo Tradição, he met and married a fan, a dentist named Ana Carolina Lago but it wasn't happy marriage because on February 2012 yr they divorced.
Now he is a singer known on the whole world owing to his song 'Ai se eu te pego' translated on many languages in the world inter alia: Spanish, Polish, English. He published to this time three albums: Balada Sertaneja (2009), Ao vivo (2010) and Michel na balada (2011). Now he is working on the fourth album.
At the beginning of his solo career he was nominated in the category for "Musical Revelation of the Year". Album Ao vivo brought him nomination for a Latin Grammy "Best Sertanejo Album".
Michel was also nominated for four categories in Premio Multishow de Música Brasileira for "Best Singer", "Musical Revelation," "Best Sertanejo Artist" and "Best Music" for "Ai se eu te pego!". At Prêmio Vagalume, Michel was nominated for "Site of the Year" and "Social Network" awards.
