Thanks for your recent letter. I'm writing to you from the hotel located in Szklarska Poręba. I'm spending my winter holidays here. This is the first time I've been here and it's such a great place! There are a lot of old wooden guesthouses and shelters which people can visit. There's also a high waterfall near this town, now icebound. It looks amazing! The weather is good, it's sunny. It snowed two days ago and it's much snow now! I spend time on skiing and snowboarding, and in the evenings I go to one of the restaurants situated in the centre and I try traditional food. On Saturday I'm going to reach the top of Szrenica, 1362 metres high mountain. On Sunday I'm going to visit Wlastimil Hofman's house - he was a Czech poet and painter.
