Wiliam Shakerpeare was born in April 1564 in Stratfordupon-Avon, in the centure of England. He went to school in Stratford and he probably became a teatcher. In 1582, when he was 18, he married Anne Hathway and they soon had three children.

The Comedy of Errors, Love’s Labour’s Lost, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Romeo and Juliet (c.1595) was the first of his major tragedies followed by a series of the mature tragedies, Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and Macbeth. Towards the end of his life Shakespeare wrote less. His last works, the so-called romances, include Cymbeline, The Tempest, and The Winter’s Tale. He died in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1616.
