Zamieszczam Ci odmianę czasownika BE w teraźniejszości:
Zdanie twierdzące:
I AM (I’m) – ja jestem
You ARE (You’re) – ty jesteś
He, She, It IS (He’s, She’s It’s) – on jest, ona jest, ono jest
We, You, They ARE (We’re, You’re, They’re) – My jesteśmy, Wy jesteście, Oni są
Zauważ, że wystarczy zapamiętać, że BE ma tylko 3 odmiany (AM przy osobie I, IS przy osobach He, She, It oraz ARE przy osobach We, You They).
Jeśli chcesz utworzyć zdanie przeczące z użyciem czasownika BE, wystarczy, że to AM, IS, ARE dodasz NOT, czyli angielskie NIE.
W skrócie wygląda to tak:
‘m not ; isn’t lub aren’t.
A zdanie: „Nie jestem wysoki.” po angielsku będzie brzmiało: I’m not tall.
“To nie jest mój pies”: It isn’t my dog.
„My nie jesteśmy z Anglii”: We aren’t from England.
W pytaniach AM, IS lub ARE stawiamy przed osobą. Przykład?
Czy to jest Twój pies?
Is it your dog?
Czy jesteście z Anglii?
Are you from England?
Pozdrawiam :)
