Today I witnessed a horrible traffic jam downtown Warsaw. There were hundreds of cars standing in one place for hours. Nobody was moving and everyone was honking their horns. Obviously, there is too much traffic in the center of Warsaw. It is difficult to get from north to south or east to west without driving through downtown. There should be a beltway that goes around the city.
Another problem is that there aren't enough buses. People drive because without their cars they couldn't get around. But those Warsovians who don't have long commutes should ride their bicycles to and from work. If the Dutch can ride to work by bike, why can't the Poles?
There is a solution to the traffic jam problem, but everyone has to work on the solution together.
