1)I lived in new york all my life.My favourite place is the statue of liberty because it's world-famous.It's in New York harbour.The statue was a present from france to the people of the USA and it's over a hundred years old-it arrived by ship in 1885.The statue is 46 metres high and a lift takes you halfway up.After the lift you walk up 168 steps!There are ferry boats to the statue every half-hour in sommer , and the tri takes twenty minutes . It's very popular , and there are often too many visitors in the afternoons, So you can't go right up to the top.
2)My favourite place is in brazil-it's the Cristo redentor statue on top of the Corcovado mountain in Rio.I've been there lots of times. A french artist, Paul Landowski, crested the statue in 1931.It is 30 metres high and weighs over 1000 tonnes.You can drive up the mountain in a car or taxi, but the best way is by train!Yes, there's a little train which climbs up the side of the steep mountain-make sure you sit on the right-hand side going up because the view is better.But when there are too many passengers, the train takes a very long time to reach the tp.

1)Mieszkałam w Nowym Yorku całe swoje życie. moim ulubionym miejscem jest Statua Wolności ponieważ jest sławna na cały świat. Jest w porcie Nowego Yorku. Statua została podarowana Amerykanom przez Francję i ma ponad sto lat- przypłynęła statkiem w 1885 roku. Statua ma 46 metrów wysokości, a winda można wjechać do jej połowy. Potem trzeba pokonać 168 schodów. Latem promy kursują do statuy co pół godziny a podróż trwa 20 minut. jest to bardzo popularne miejsce, i często popołudniami jest przeludnione zwiedzającymi, więc nie można dostać się na sama górę.

Ten mały pociąg wjeżdża po stromym zboczu góry- upewnij się że siedzisz po prawej stronie wjeżdżając na górę, bo ta, widoki są lepsze. Ale kiedy jest za dużo pasażerów, zajmuje to bardzo dużo czasu zanim pociąg wjedzie na samą górę.
