Mary Shelley was born in London in 1797. As a child, she read a lot of books. Mary published her first poem, at the age of 10.

In 1812, Mary met Percy Shelley, the famous poet, at the age of fifteen, In 1816, she married Percy Shelley, at the age nineteen. Mary wrote Frankenstein in 1817 (the idea came in dream!)
