Today there are many opinions regarding language learning for young children. Whether it is a big help in the later language learning, or is it futile and hindrance?
Firstly young children have an amazing ability to acquire knowledge. They learn faster than adults, and their brains absorb knowledge in an easy and efficient way. Children aged 3 to 7 years to know the world and language through play and exploration. They have a high ability to mimic speech. Another key issue is that young children are motivated to acquire language without conscious learning. Than they began to learn a foreign language at an early age it helps him improve in later years.
But there are also dissenters of starting a language learning for children in preschool and believe they should start it as late as possible. Opponents say language learning that children can have the problem of expression and writing in their native language. They believe that children should first get to know the native language. Nevertheless , there is no evidence unequivocally confirming the validity of this thesis.
Taking into account the above-mentioned arguments, I think that would be a great wasted of not facilitating children to live and not to use his natural ability to easily and quickly learning a foreign language. I am convinced that learning another language at a young age is as easy as learning mother tongue.
