oto stresczenie najważniejszych wątków ksiązki:

The book tells the story about the English people and how their lives changed when many foreigners came to England. There are many different customs that were changed by foreigners. The language changed because foreigners started to introduce their words so English people speak English mixed with  other languages. They no longer drink as much tea as it used to be. English people no longer talk about the weather when they meet. They talk about money. English people change their favourite habits,  for example, they no longer like standing in ques, they still love them but now they don't stand in queues because they do shopping in supermarkets. Instead they start waiting for the bus and meeting new people at the bus stop. It is because they watch foreigners going to supermarkets and talking at the bus stop and they want to do the same. Even civil servants changed. They think they are soldiers and begin to treat people like they are in war. In general the book is about how england and English people become more like foreigners and not like typical British we know.
