SolcitoRiehmeThe vacuole is a bag that is present in plant cells and prokaryotic cells in some bacteria. Its function is not only store water but regulates the water between the cell and the environment by ensuring that the cell always have adequate water levels for activity. The origin of the vacuole is by assembling vesicles. Immature cells have several small vesicles, which then fucionan to form vacuoles.
