This study focused on Figurative Language and message that used on "Love Story" song by Taylor Swift. The purposes of this research are (1) to know the figurative Language in "Love Story" song by Taylor Swift and (2) to know the message from "Love Story" song by Taylor Swift. This research was a qualitative research design because the writer is easier to present the result of the collected data and it was intended to know the figurative language and message on "Love Story" song by Taylor Swift. In addition, the instrument that used in this research is the writer. The result of this research showed that the lyrics on the song have many expressions such as sad, angry, jealous and many more expressions. The figurative languages that used in this song are metaphor, irony, sycnodoche, symbol and hyperbole. The most dominat figure of speech here is metaphor. Moreover, the general message in "Love Story" song is we should try hard to get something that we want, no matter how difficult the obstacles. We should always believe that there is no result that betrays the process.
