Extreme Cello is one extreme sport that you might not have heard about before.Along with Extreme Ironing it's one of the newest extreme sports around.In 2003 two teachers and a university professor from England started playing their cellos in unusual outdoor places to raise money for charity.Since then they have earned fame as the extreme Cello players and have given performances in strange locations all over Britain and Ireland . In 2006 they played on the roofs of 42 churchles around England in 12 days.The team has also climbed the four highest mountains in Britain and Ireland with their cellos.That's 4,445 m of climbing!As Clare Wallace the oldest member of the team explains Extreme Cello is actually a physical sport.A cello is a big instrument and we have climbed many stone stairs and steep hills on our adventures.The team spend a lot of time in the gym to keep in shape and follow a healthy diet.But what's next for the Extreme Cello team?James Reese the youngest member of the team says that Extreme Cello will continue:We've done a number of challenges in the past but we are always looking for something new-something even more extreme:
