We use present perfect:
1. To talk about actions that took place any time on the past, without specifying it.
2. To point out a change through time
3. To talk about actions that haven’t taken place yet (usually with yet and still)
4. To talk about actions that have taken place in different times in the past, but it exists a possibility to happen again
Ex.
1.I have been depressed (He estado deprimido)
He have been more disrespectful than usual (Él ha sido más irrespetuoso que de costumbre)
Apple haven’t relased the new iPhone yet (Apple aún no ha lanzado el nuevo iPhone)
Sid have stolen a few cigarettes from a store two times this week (Sid ha robado algunos cigarrillos de una tienda dos veces esta semana)
