This week's MIRACLE STORY comes ftom the Pacyfic Ocean. Three amazing children survived after their boat turned over.
Tama Franks and her brothers Josef and Hori live on a small island in the Pacific Ocean. One morning they were going to a birthday party on another island when their boat turned over in rough sea. It didn't sink, but the children weren't able to turn it the right way up. Fortunately, they could swim well, and they were able to reach a rock about nine kilometers away. They were extremely brave, because the sea was full of sharks. The children stayed on the rock for three days. They were able to open a few oysters, but there was no fresh water, and they knew they couldn't survive without anything to drink. In the distance, they could see the tops of some coconut trees, so they decided to swim towards them. After about a day, they reached a tiny island. They still couldn't find any fresh water, but they broke open some coconuts and drank the milk.
Their father finally found them a week later. They were dehydrated, hungry and sunburnt, but they were alive. Their father said later, 'I couldn't believe it when I saw them. It was a miracle.'

Three children were going to a birthday party when a sudden storm turned over their boat. As they could all swim very well they managed to swim to a rock which was nine kilometers away. They stayed on the rock for three long days. There was no drinking water but luckily they found some oysters to eat. The lack of water made them swim towards an island they could see in the distance. When they got there it turned out there was no drinking water on this island either, but they found some coconuts and drank their milk. After a week, their father found them at last. There was no shelter from the sun so they all got sunburn and were dehydrated, but at least they survived.
