In the 18th century, newspapers were used to circulate news. Then, in the 20th century, radio and TV became another way to share news. Now, in the 21st century, the Internet is one of the preferred ways to find out about any relevant information and events around the world.
-The Internet has also changed the way we get news. We can now see live news online at any hour of the day in any place in the world (as long as there is Internet connection). It allows us to watch, read, and hear the same information from different sources, this can let us listen to different perspectives regarding the same matter. We can then reach our own conclusions.
-News is information about current events. News can be provided through different media. Media are the communication tools that are used to store and deliver information. News can have different topics such as government, war, politics, health, the environment, economy, business, fashion, entertainment, education, and sports.
-The news that reaches us has also changed. Before globalization and all the new technologies available today, people had only been able to hear and learn about events close to where they lived. Nowadays we can read, hear, and watch news from all over the world. These new ways in which we can access information allows us to learn more about the world and the people that live in it.
