I have just returned from the Annual Polish Food Festival. It was fantastic!
This festival takes place every year in my city. People from all over Poland come here to present their Polish food from all the regions of Poland. Every year there are thousands of visitors who always come here to taste the best food in Poland. This festival is not only about food. You can also see some regional bands and regional dance groups performing on stage.
I went there to taste the best food, too.
I had some of the most delicious bigos and the highlander kwasnica (sauerkraut) soup. If you ever visit the region of Podhale, you must try it, it’s amazing.
At the end of the day I took part in the annual sausage eating competition but I guess I wasn’t hungry enough to win it.
I had a great day and you should visit me this time next year so we can go there together.
