= ±√(b²-4ac)
= ±√(5²-4(1)3)
= ±√(25-12)
= ±√13 ✓
d) x1²+x2²
= (x1+x2)² - 2x1.x2
= (-5)²-2(3)
= 25-6
= 21✓
