Fifty Channels

My mum and dad say that when they were our age they only had four channels. Four channels! How boring! These days we' ve got hundreds of channels but we only watch a few of them. I like watching the History Channel. The programmes about wars are really interesting. And my dad watches his favourite team, Chelsea, on the Sports Channel.

Documentaries and Soaps

'I'd rather watch BBC programmes because they never have adverts. The adverts on the other channels are so boring! The BBC also has good documentaries and a programme about cars called Top Gear. That's really cool. The only programmes I always watch are a couple of soaps. One is EastEnders. All my friends watch it too and we talk about it nonstop at school. I also watch an Australian soap called Neighbours. It's very different from EastEnders because the sun's always shining and most of the characters are really good-looking young people.'

Pięćdziesiąt kanałów

Moja mama i tata mówią,że kiedy byli w naszym wieku mieli tylko cztery kanały. Cztery kanały! Ale nuda! W dzisiejszych czasach mamy setki kanałów ale oglądamy tylko kilka z nich.Ja lubię oglądać kanał historyczny.Programy o wojnach są naprawdę interesujące. A mój tata ogląda swoją ulubioną drużynę, Chelsea,na kanale sportowym.

 

Filmy dokumentalne i telenowele

Ja wolę oglądać programy BBC ponieważ nigdy  nie ma tam reklam.Reklamy na innych kanałach są nudne! BBC ma również dobre filmy dokumentalne oraz program o samochodach "Top Gear".Jest naprawdę super. Jedyne programy,które zawsze oglądam to kilka telenowel.Jedna to "EastEnders". Wszycy moi przyjaciele też to oglądają i rozmawiamy o tym cały czas w szkole.Ja także oglądam australijską telenowalę "Neighbours"("Sąsiedzi"). Jest całkiem inna od "EastEnders",ponieważ zawsze świeci słońce i większoć  bohaterów to atrakcyjni młodzi ludzie.'

 

*soap- to telenowela (opera mydlana),ale odnośnie do tych tytułów "EastEnders" i "Neighbours" to są seriale.
