This story was happening, when Henryk IV Probus was a prine of Cracow. He was very ambitious. He wanted to become a king of all Poland. In those days if someone would like to become a king, he had to have much money for pope. Henryk IV Probus was rich, but not enough. He was thinking a lot how to get money, when one witch told, that she can help him. She turned prince's team into pigeons, and she told them to fly on the top of St.Mary's Basilica. Birds had flown there and started picking out small pieces od wall. Every piece which fell on the street changed into a coin. Witch told Henryk IV Probus that she will change pigeons into people again, if he'll come back to Cracow, as a king. The prince had taken all money, and he went to pope. It was very far to Rome, and the prince was wastefull. He liked wines, honey and expensive dishes, so he lost all money for them. He had nothing, that he could give to pope. He didn't has money even to come back to Cracow, so charmed pigeons are still at Cracow's square, and they're waiting for their lord.
