The short story „I´m sorry Katie“ by Isha Mishra is about a deaf girl, who blames for the death of her elder sister. Katie always took care of her and was her best friend. One day, when they were together for a walk, Katie seeing her sister standing in the middle of the road she rushed to save her and get run over by car , at the same time losing their own lives. She can´t drown remorse.

She starts to cry and her tears remind her of the rain when she went to fly kite with her mother.Grace goes out and starts to fly kite in the rain. She smiles and thinks of the words her mother said to her when they were flying kite for the last time.
