On Saturday morning, my alarm clock did't work, so I woke up late. Luckily,
I arrived at the airport on time and did't.
Miss my flight, but a customs officer told me that my luggage was too heavy, so I had to pay the airline some extra money.
He also told me that I had to declare any strange contents in my suitcases.
Eventually, I was allowed to board the plane.
When I arrived Germany, I read the weather forecast and it said there would be sun for the whole week. I was very happy, but on the first day I got a terrible sunburn and had to stay in bed for three days! To make things worse my hotel room was dirty and there were cockroaches!
When I got home, I was tired but relieved. But when I unpacked my suitcase, I realised that my camera was still in Germany! It was a terrible holiday experience. I think I will stay home next summer!
