Could spending too long in virtual wordls have a negative effect on people? If so, what?

Yes, of course. In my opinion visiting virtual world from time to time is not a bad thing. People can meet each other, talk, maybe even new relationships can be created. But everything must be controlled. People need to control the time they spend in the front of the computer and in virtual world. If it is not, some of them cannot see the difference betweer real world and virtual wolrd, some of them spend all days in that second world. Definitely, spending to much time in virtual world has many flaws and it is dangerous.
