As I gain consciousness I found myself surrounded by rescuers. And then all came back to me how I got here and what happened. I was on my sail boat when the wind started picking up. As I got farther the storm blew in from nowhere. Rain began to drop, filling my boat with water faster than I can pour it out. It began to overflow the boat, in my heart I knew it was hopeless I stated to feel it sinking. Before I knew it was under water and then slowly sunk beneath me where I could not see it. I began to swim towards land. Terrified and determined to survive I went faster than ever. As I got to the shore all went blank. I found myself getting woken by rescuers. My mind racing I was thankful to be alive.
