Degree of comparison adalah tingkatan perbandingan mulai dari paling besar, setara dengan, dan paling kecil. dibagi 3 : - the positive degree (tingkat biasa) ditulis : as ... as .... (contoh : as long as you love) - the comparative degree (tingkat lebih) ditulis : adjective+er, atau more+adjective. (contoh : alwi is taller than kevin. dinda is more beautiful than yuri) - the superlative degree (tingkat paling) ditulis : adjective+est, atau most+adjective . (contoh : arfan is tallest in the class. moni is the most beautiful in the class)
