The celebrites who take part in the programme must give up luxuries and spend up to fortnight in a camp in the Australian jungle. In the second week, the viewers decide who leaves the jungle each day. The last person left becomes King or Queen of the Jungle, and wins a lot of money for charity. Life in the jungle isn't easy for the celebrites. They complain because they're hungry, and they often get bored because they have no contact with the outside world. They only see the show's presenters and film crews who interview them. But not too far away from the camp there are up to 400 people working on the programme!
