Writing
Hi Tom,
I’m writing to you as I plan on going to UK and I wanted to ask you a few questions concerning my visit there.
What would be the best season to visit UK? I thought about the end of the summer, but am afraid that it might be too windy then. What do you think about July? The first city I would like to visit is Blackpool. Are there many tourists over there at that time? I’ve heard that the Blackpool Tower is a-must-see. Any other interesting places there you would recommend? I was thinking about renting a car when I get there, but am not sure If I would manage to drive on the left side – seems a bit awkward. Is it hard to switch from right-hand to left-hand traffic? If not a car, what would be a better choice to travel from one city to another? Trains or busses?
I have already planned some of my expedition. Liverpool is number two on the list. It’s not that far from Blackpool. From there I want to go to Manchester to watch a football game. Etihad Stadium is a place I have to visit! I really can’t wait to be there.
I’m looking forward to be hearing from you soon
Andrew

Hi Michael,
I’m writing to you as I plan on going to UK and I wanted to ask you a few questions concerning my visit there.
I thought about coming to the UK at the beginning of the summer, but am afraid that there are going to be thousands of tourists all over the country then. Would August be better? I’d like to start my visit to UK in Blackpool. I’ve heard that the Blackpool Tower is a-must-see. Are there any other interesting places you would recommend? Are trains the best means of transport to travel between cities? I am not thinking about renting a car because I think it is too hard to switch from right-hand to left-hand traffic.
Blackpool-Liverpool-Manchester that’s my route. First one for fun (the casinos are waiting), the latter two for football. Etihad Stadium is a place I have to visit! I really can’t wait to be there.
