1. It was accidentally discovered by four teenage boys. They were playing in the wood with their dog when they found a hole beneath a tree that turned out to be a cave. But not ordinary one, because it's walls were covered with ancient paintings from 16000 years ago.
2.Mainly there are paintings of animals. The most popular subject is horses, but you can also find there paintings of wild cats, bison, rhinoceros and bulls.

4.It's hard to determine who painted them. Some people spin theories about the mysterious "someone" who did this but I'm not one of them. The most interesting teory I've heard of was pointing shamans as people who did the work.

6.It was absolutely necessary. The cave was badly damaged and we had to do everything in our power to protect it.
7.I wouldn't put it that way. Let's say they are some dangers waiting for them but they are beeing taken good care of. We are trying to find a way to completly eliminate possible dangers.

1. In September 1940, four teenage boys and the dog called Robot were playing in the woods when they found a recent hole beneath a tree and decided to explore. It turned out that they discover a wonderfull cage with lots of paintings.

2. Paintings show us ancient animals from 16,000 years ago.

3. Yes, of course. They were showed as the huntsmen who hunt for animals to get some food.

4. 2,000 of pictures was painted by the prehistoric men. But there are some pictures that we can't say clearly who paited them. It could be a shaman or a magician.

5. Maybe they painted them to bring them luck with the hunt.

6. Unfortunately, yes. Carbon dioxide from visitors' breath damaged these paintings. So specialist had to close the cave and tried to renovate the paintings.

7. Unfortunately no. There are some important air conditions which makes renovating a really dangerous thing.
