1.Work in small groups. Ask and answer the questions.
* Have you or anyone you know ever had a summer job? What was it? * What did you (he/she) have to do? * What was good/bad about the job? * What kind of summer job would you like to do?
(napisać pare zdan na kazde pytanie z gwiazdek) potem odpowiadam ustnie, wiec prosilabym jakoś fajnie, ciekawie ;)
2. Make a list of all the summer jobs you can think of which students do in your country.
Madeline
My friend has worked in a small restaurant last holidays. She had to help the chef to prepare courses, clean the tables and serve the customers. This job was great for her because it was well paid. Usually, she didn't have to work so hard but sometimes there were really busy days. She also got to know new people so she enjoyed this job. If I had a chance to work on summer I would like to get well paid job. It is the most important thing for me. I also would like to work with people because I am social able.
I think in Poland students can work: in restaurants, catering, bars; maybe in receptions of hotels, motels and so on in markets, shops; as the baby-sitter, cleaner and also in the field.
