Was (singular, solo una persona) / were (plurar, es decir cuando es más de una persona) + el ing en los verbos (ejemplo: "cook = cooking)
Aquí no se usa el was/were.
Solo le debes agregar el 'ed' (el cual indica que está en pasado) a los verbos (ejemplo: cook = cooked).
(Nota: no a todos los verbos se le pueden añadir el 'ed' al final, hay excepciones como "broke")
1. While he was playing tennis with his sister, he hit the ball out of the court.
2. We were buying our tickets for the match when we realised we didn't have any money with us.
3. The player was scoring the goal while the referee looked at this watch.
4. My dad was playing baseball match at the stadium when he caught the ball!
5. I was leaving home for my training session when my friend Zac called me.
