Misalkan :
x =  kelereng
gasing = y

2x + 4y = 7.000
5x + 7y = 13.000

k = ??

   Melalui Subsitusi
   2x + 4y = 7.000
   2x = 7.000 - 4y
     x = 3.500 - 2y
   5x + 7y = 13.000
   5(3.500 - 2y) + 7y = 13.000
   17.500 - 10y + 7y = 13.000
   17.500 - 13.000 = 3y
   4.500 = 3y
         y = 1.500  ===> gasing

  x = 3.500 - 2y = 3.500 - 2(1.500)
                         = 3.500 - 3.000
                      x = 500  ==> kelereng
