The film "The Pianist" is a fictionalized biography of the great music - Wladyslaw Szpilman
which, being a Jew, survived the hell of World War II. His story is so close to us that the film took place in Warsaw, and most of the problems are associated with the history of our country.
"The Pianist" tells the true story of the life of people in the ghetto when the Germans entered the Polish territories of the least peaceful intentions.
The main character - Wladyslaw Szpilman is a great musician. Resettlement of Jews in the 403 hectare area, surrounded by a wall and echidna, interrupted his well-promising career. The film was appreciated not only by me - it was as much as 3 Academy Awards - the Oscars. One of them fell for director Roman Polanski, the second for the script, and the last to Adrien Brody for the leading male role. I am very pleased that our, Polish director, was so highly honored for his work, but I have doubts about the actor who plays Wladyslaw Szpilman, because I loved it not really in that role, I think that the game was a bit "artificial".
As for the film itself, however, is the most shocked me scene murder of Jews. The acquirer was also tired of constantly returning Szpilman hiding in the ghetto, which was only the ruins of houses and the human body. Whole, how realistic scene, aroused in me the anger, sadness and yet the human intolerance and the desire to dominate. It occurred to me that she could be Jewish, to hide in the basement and fight for their lives. "The Pianist" aroused in me the good emotions - I realized how important it is in life, passion and love for something - if it was Szpilman's music. It allowed him to earn a living, but also to overcome loneliness and fear.
For me, "The Pianist" is a film that really is worth seeing, if only to realize how big a problem is racism and religious intolerance.
