First of all i must warn you- it is not an easy job. I like what I am doing, and I am quite good at this. My advice for you is- think twice before getting there. It is easy to get there, but it is hard to quit. Remember it, Martin.
I really like working on scyscrapers. Quallifications? Just 2: You should not have an acrophobia and you should know about the danger while you step around about 400m height. Of course you should also have some math skills and a higher education in engineering. All I have to do there is to work around- as I said, usually about 400m height- and to check if everything is in good condition and if our buildings would not collapse or something.
If I had choice, then- yes- i would choose this job again. I am just loving it.
