Linkin Park is an american music band. It is playing rock . It was established in 1996 in Los Angeles . The current team is Brad Delson guitar , Mike shinoda - singer , keyboards, rhythm guitar , bass guitar ,MC ( Master of Ceremony ) , graphic and piano , Chester Bennington - sing, guitar , Rob Bourdon- piano and drums ,Joseph Hahn -DJ, piano ,directing, scenarist, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell -choirs, bass guitar, cello, guitar. Originally they were called "Xero ". When Chester Bennington left Grey Daze and Mark Wakefield( singer ) left Linkin Park they wanted to change their name for Hybrid Theory cause they were playing hybrid of metal , electronic music , rap etc. They thought about many names but finally they picked Lincoln Park( from Lincoln Park in Santa Monica ) but it was taken by some band from Australia . They didn;t wanna change it all one more time so they stayed in Linkin Park . Their first album was called "Hybrid Theory EP " but it was unofficial and they made only 1000 copies . Then they made official album "Hybrid Theory " in year 2000 .Then they made album called Meteora ( 2003) , Minuts do Midnight ( 2007) and A thousand Suns ( 2010 ) . They bacame really famous . They got many awards including many ,many awards on MTV music awards one of the most important music events . They were changing their style and working with many artists.
