3) 25th December is actually not the authentic date of the birth of Christ. What's interesting, is that the Greek god of sun, Helios, was said to be born on this date.
(3 may be controversial, but true.)

1) Halloween is celebrated on 31st October.
2) The tradition of carving dumpkins on Halloween was developed from the legend of Jack O'Lantern.
3) During Halloween children disguise themselves and knock the doors of different houses in the neighborhood saying 'trick or treat!'.
