3 cups and 2 bowls can hold a total of 2.88 litres of water. A bowl can hold 3 times as much as a cup. Find how much water a cup can hold????

3 cups + 2 bowls = 2,88
if 1 bolw = 3 × 1 cup
3 cups + 2 (3 cup) = 2,88
3 cups + 6 cups = 2,88
9 cups = 2,88
a cups = 2,88 ÷ 9 = 0,32 liters
bowls is 3 times of cups so 0,32 × 3 = 0,96
