Dear Sir,

I read your article about Jamie Oliver and I think Jamie is exactly like my grandma in what she believed and did. They say that the Slow Food movement started in Italy but for me it is the food I had at my grandma’s.

My grandma never bought any takeaway meals. She always bought fruit, vegetables, and eggs at the market. My grandma made all her meals from scratch – from beginning to end. Her soups smelled like heaven. Her salads were like art. We liked 1______________ and they were very tasty, too.

My grandma’s chocolate cake was famous in the family. She said chocolate 2____________ so she always made the cake when we came to visit

.

My grandma also made us drink a lot of water, fruit juice (she made it from real fruit!), milk and some tea. The drinks weren’t cold but 3______________.

My grandma also believed in ‘quiet food’. We talked when we had meals but never watched TV or 4______________. She said it was important to concentrate on eating.

I like the job Jamie did improving school dinners, but it always makes me think 5______________.

Yours faithfully,

Dennis Wilson
