Penjelasan:

Ini materi pelajaran conditionals, yaitu conditional type 1, type 2 dan type 3

Untuk memahami conditional, perhatikan bahwa dalam kalimat conditional kita akan menemukan dua clause.

Clause pertama adalah clause yang mengandung pengandaian, disebut if clause. Ini kita temukan di bagian setelah kata if.

Misalnya di kalimat 1, if clause nya adalah "if you call him" (jika kamu memanggilnya)

Clause ke-2 adalah clause berisi akibat atau konsekwensi jika syarat di if clause terwujud atau terlaksana.

Misalnya kembali ke kalimat 1, clause akibat adalah "The man will come here" (Pria itu akan datang ke sini)

Jadi jika if clause terwujud (dlm hal ini jika kamu memanggil dia), maka cluase result akan terjadi (yaitu dia akan datang ke sini).

Secara gramatikal, conditional type 1, 2 dan 3 masing masing akan berbeda tense yang dipakai, baik bagian if clause, maupun bagian result clause.

Berdasarkan itulah kita bisa menjawab soal ini, yaitu memperhatikan entah if clause, atau result clause, mana yang disediakan oleh soal.

Rumus gramatikal conditional 1:

IF clause: simple persent => if + subjek + verb 1

Result clause: simple future => subjek + will + verb 1

If clause: simple past => if + subjek + verb 2

Result clause: subjek + would + verb 1

Type 2 conditional ini bisa ditemukan di soal 2/4/6/10.

Perhatikan soal 6 dan 10, verb di if clause nya adalah to be (lihat soal), maka dipakai were.

Sedangkan soal 2 dan 4 verb nya adalah verb biasa, maka dipakai verb 2 seperti rumusnya (asked dan knew)

Rumus gramatikal conditional 3:

If clause: past perfect tense => if + subjek + had + verb 3

Result clause: subjek + would have + verb 3

Type 3 conditional ini ditemukan di soal: 5 dan 8
