Lying just off the coast of Lombok, the Gili 1 must be the most beautiful place I've 2 seen. There three tiny islands were like jewels sparkling in the middle of the ocean. Getting there was quite an adventure though. We left 6 Indonesia fom Heathrow late on a Sunday evening and arrived Monday afternoon in Bali in the middle of a huge 7 storm.
