Biografía
Jorge Ernesto Lanata (Mar del Plata, 12 de septiembre de 1960) es un periodista argentino de extensa trayectoria. También ha incursionado en la literatura, el documental, la ficción televisiva y el teatro de revistas.

Junto a Jorge Fontevecchia, Eduardo Aliverti y Horacio Verbitsky, es uno de los representantes del periodismo de investigación en la Argentina, fenómeno periodístico del retorno de la democracia en la década del 80′, donde se prefiere ver la realidad de manera crítica y fundamentada en pruebas documentales.

Entre las características de Lanata se destaca su sentido de humor ácido; el uso de la ironía para presentar una noticia y su sarcasmo y actitudes desprejuiciadas.

Comenzó su carrera a los 14 años, escribiendo las noticias del día para Radio Nacional, y con sólo 26 años fundó el Diario Página/12, medio que cambió la forma de hacer periodismo gráfico en la Argentina.
Condujo “Hora 25” y “Rompecabezas” en radio y el ciclo de Televisión “Día D . Sus libros “Argentinos I y II” superaron los 340.000 ejemplares vendidos y fue declarado texto de lectura en las escuelas argentinas.
En 2004 estrenó su ópera prima: el documental “Deuda”, y tras ello, un nuevo libro: ADN.
Actualmente escribe el panorama político del diario Perfil, conduce Lanata AM, por Radio Del Plata y participa de la Tertulia Latinoamericana en la Cadena Ser de España, junto a Álvaro Vargas Llosa y Jaime Baily.
Jorge Lanata es uno de los íconos del periodismo nacional, no sólo por el compromiso y la entrega con la que ha trabajado a lo largo de su carrera sino por la originalidad, el talento y la creatividad que ha desplegado en los medios generando nuevos formatos y estilos.
