1. x² + 3x - 5 = 0
a + b = -b/a = -3/1 = -3
a x b = c/a = -5/1 = -5
akar baru (a -1) dan (b - 1)
(a -1) + (b - 1) = a + b - 2
= -3 -2
= -5
(a -1) x (b - 1) = axb -(a + b) + 1
= -5 - (-3) + 1
= -5 + 3 + 1
= -1
maka persamaannya
x² - (-5)x +(-1) = 0
x² + 5x - 1 = 0
2. x² - 4x + 2 = 0
a + b = -b/a = -(-4)/1 = 4
