1. No, he didn't. But he can't do anything about it because his wife forced him to keep asking the fish for wishes, and he felt very ashamed of his wife's greed.

4. The wife wants to be Lord of the sun and the moon, so she asked her husband to go to the fish. The fisherman can't do anything but to obey his wife. He asked the fish what his wife wants, and the fish told him to go back to his small hut.
