I was so glad to get your letter last week. I'm happy you're doing well.
You asked if I could tell you something about polish weddings - of course I can. Last Saturday I was on a great ceremony. My friend Angela had a church wedding and after that there was a reception in a restaurant. The groom was wearing black suit and sued shoes. The bride was almost like princess -she had got a long white dress and lacy veil. She was holding a corsage made by red roses.
There were also flowers in the church and ribbons on the prie-dieus.There was a white tablecloth on an altar too. There were almost a hundred guest in the church and over fifty people on the wedding reception after ceremony.
The groom and the bride with their bridesmaid and the best man go to the restaurant by limousine. The restaurant was situated near the church - about 3 kilometers.
Polish receptions are diffrent by the others. First fo all the best man stood up and had a speech. The toast was beautiful. Then, the bridesmaid suggested a game - all couples had a baloon and must dance with it but without using hands. The baloon couldn't touch a floor. It was a great ceremony and I had a nice time there.
I really can't wait to see you on my wedding this summer!
