I think pupils shouldn't wear uniforms, because it will qualify their selfhood. Young people - and pupils are young - have a big need to express their emotions by clothes. The system of education should support it - pupils should be educated how to be indepentend. What's more - uniforms will make being in school very boring. Students, wearing the same clothes, can be unwilling to learn, because their surroundings will be tiresome.

Pupils are rebellious and they must express their independence - wearing interesting, colorful clothes is a good way to do it.
