Last Week, I visited the Eiffel Tower with my friends family. The Eiffel Tower is an iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. It was named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. It is famous because it is very tall and is the place you would think of first after someone said 'France'. I visited it because my friends family where going to Paris for 3 days and offered to take me with them. I was very excited when I first heard that I had this amazing opportunity. I was very happy to go as I have never been to Paris before in my life. I have been to a little town on the side of France once for a school trip but not to Paris. My visit to the Eiffel Tower was the best experience in my whole life. I enjoyed it a lot because I got to go all the way up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was quite cold but I still loved the trip. I hope I can visit the Eiffel Tower again one day.
