The picture shows a group of people on a tennis court. Probably they are dividing for two teams who are going to play against each other. The first team  is containing one man and one woman. She is wearing a white sport shoes and white skirt. What's more, she is wearing red shirt and she has brown,short hair. The man on the left side of net is wearing blue and white t-shirt ,white trousers and white sport shoes. The woman is holding out her hand, probably she wants to welcome with opponents. The woman from the second team is wearing white sport shoes, blue skirt and white shirt. What's more, the man from the second team is wearing clothes in white. Everyone is holding their tennis rackets. 

 

 

1. Do you think that people are going to start playing or they have just finished playing? Why?

 

I think that people from the photo are going to start playing because one of them (woman from the first team)  is holding out her hand to welcome their opponents.

 

2. Is playing tennis popular with young people in Poland? Why?/Why not?

 

I think that playing tennis is very popular amount young people nowadays. Every city has at least one tennis court and tennis trainers say that number of young people who are playing tennis is still increasing.

 

3. Tell us about a sports competitions that you or your friends took part in.

 

Last week I took part in a school volleyball competition. People from my school were playing against team from other high school. The spectators were shouting very loudly. We won 4:2 and it was the best sport event which I ever took part in.
