Sharks ahoy!
Last summer we spent / were spending our summer holidays in Cornwall. One morning, while our parents shopped / were shopping, my sister Lucy and I went / were going to the beach. We played / were playing volleyball when suddenly I saw / was seeing a shark's fin in the water. A shark swam / was swimming in the sea near the beach! We immediately ran / were running across the beach to the coastguard's hut. 'Don't worry,' he said / was saying, 'they aren't dangerous man-eating sharks!' But lucy was terrified. She didn't want / wasn't wanting to swim in the sea again!
